THUNDER COAT
Fast drying UHS clear coat
Thunder Coat is a two-component acrylic clear varnish with high solid content (UHS), featuring a very high hardening speed. The ready-to-use product has excellent rheology, excellent flow and excellent gloss. Once dried, it forms a film of great gloss and hardness, with very high stability characteristics thanks to its excellent resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents.
The pot-life is well calibrated to allow safe application with a single catalyst. It can be used on a water or solvent base.
APPLICATION
- Apply with a gravity feed spray gun, nozzle Ø 1.3 mm, pressure as per the gun manufacturer’s instructions. It is recommended to apply at a temperature between 18 and 22°C and with air humidity between 40 and 60%.
- Spray a cross coat on flat parts, without flashing between the two coats. For vertical parts, spray half a light coat and a full one, without flashing between the coats. Dry film thickness: 50-60 microns.
- During the drying phase, the oven can only be used in “ventilated” mode, i.e. without activating the heating.
TIPS: let the product air dry for at least 3 hours before sanding.
