Thunder Cut compound can be used for different steps of the polishing cycle, with different buffing pads, with a conventional rotary polisher or with a random orbital polisher. It is also suitable for both short and long processes.

Fast cut abrasive compound
Thunder Cut is a liquid rubbing compund with high cutting power. 2 in 1 product: it can be used as preparation and finishing rubbing compound as it quickly removes sanding marks and scratches due to usury, ensuring perfect surface uniformity and a very high gloss. It can be used both on fresh paints, on coatings applied over time and on pigmented glossy topcoat.The formula was developed specifically for polishing polyurethane clear coats (cars, trucks, boats).
For polishing sanded surfaces
- First pass with rotary polisher and merino wool pad type code 86777T.
- Second pass with a random orbital polisher and yellow or orange/white pad for transparencies that are not completely dry.
For standard polishing of large surfaces (panels or entire vehicle)
- First pass with rotary polisher and yellow honeycomb pad type code 86751.
- Second pass with random orbital polisher and yellow or orange/white pad for not completely dry clearcoats.
For the removal of dirt or small defects
- Sand with abrasive sheets/discs P1500-P2000-P3000 type Tolecut/Buflex
- First step with rotary polisher and merino wool disc type code 86777T
- Second step with rotorbital polisher and yellow pad type for coats not completely dried.
TIPS: for better surface protection we recommend using PS57 PAINT SEALER or POLISH T77/TIXI; or a NANOMETRIC treatment with KIT DEFENDER, LONG LASTING or RENEW.
